Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Lake Charles center to provide high-quality early childhood education and care. In this role, you will create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, engaged, and encouraged to explore. You'll plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, while maintaining strong communication with families. As part of a collaborative team, you'll receive ongoing training and growth opportunities, helping you build a meaningful career shaping children's early learning experiences. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood standards. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Supervise children and ensure adherence to safety and health protocols. Observe and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families about child growth and classroom activities. Collaborate with center staff to support curriculum and center goals. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and learning materials. Participate in professional development and ongoing training.
