Lead Toddler Teacher
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of age-appropriate curricula, support early childhood development, and ensure a safe, inclusive space where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on toddler care, literacy education, and early intervention strategies Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and positive interactions among children Oversee daily classroom management to ensure a safe, organized environment conducive to learning and exploration Collaborate with families to communicate progress, behavioral observations, and tailored strategies supporting each child's unique needs Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed Maintain accurate records of children's developmental milestones, assessments, and standardized testing results Skills Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on toddlers and preschool-aged children Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies Skilled in curriculum development across areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare best practices Proficient in lesson planning that integrates Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity and independence Be a part of a compassionate team dedicated to making a difference in children's lives.
