Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth, curiosity, and a love for learning in our youngest learners. Your energetic approach will inspire both children and staff, creating a nurturing environment where infants feel safe, supported, and excited to explore their world. As a leader in our classroom, you will ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and educational excellence are maintained every day. Responsibilities Design and execute developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' individual needs and milestones Supervise and support classroom staff to ensure consistent, high-quality caregiving and teaching practices Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns with transparency and professionalism Implement health and safety protocols including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety at all times Lead daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and diaper changes with compassion and attention to detail Manage classroom behavior through positive guidance strategies that promote social-emotional development Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support childhood development stages and foster early learning skills Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, special education needs, and infant care techniques Experience Proven experience working with infants in daycare centers or preschool settings with classroom management skills Strong background in child development instruction, early childhood education principles, and caregiving techniques for young children Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development milestones related to infants' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth Prior experience in nannying or babysitting young children can be advantageous but must be complemented by formal teaching experience Familiarity with daycare center operations including child supervision standards and health & safety regulations Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is required or willing to obtain upon hire Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives by providing exceptional care infused with enthusiasm and expertise. Pay:
