In this role, you will provide safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for infants (typically ages 6 weeks to 12 months), supporting their early growth in a clean, structured, and engaging classroom environment. Teacher Responsibilities will be Provide attentive, one-on-one and small-group care for infants throughout the day Teach Curriculum Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules provided by parents Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized classroom, including toys, bedding, and feeding equipment Track and document daily routines (feedings, naps, diaper changes, milestones) for parent communication Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that support sensory, motor, and language development Monitor infants closely at all times to ensure safety and adherence to ratios Communicate warmly and professionally with parents at drop-off and pick-up Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and center policies Collaborate with co-teachers and center leadership as part of a supportive team What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and certification A supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunities for training and professional growth Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent required Experience caring for infants preferred (childcare, home, or family setting) CDA credential or early childhood degree, but not required Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to pass a background check and meet Louisiana licensing requirements Patient, gentle, and attentive disposition with a genuine love for infants Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Full Time Positon Pay:
$11.00 - $14.00 per hour
