Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED A valid driver's license One year experience working in human services or with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required The ability to handle children/ individuals in crisis safely, with compassion. Must be able to physically intervene in the event of extreme behavior

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate about issues which impact students and program operation to team and supervisor. Assist in the preparation of IEPs, annual and semi-annual assessments. Maintain logs and record behavioral progress. Maintain clear visuals for monitoring cameras. Provide informal counseling for students. Maintain a clean environment for students. Track clothing including seasonal rotation. Constructively participate in team meetings and supervision. Implement laundry schedules, chore charts, shower schedules.
