We have open positions in both our infant and toddler classrooms, either as an assistant or co-teacher. This is a year round, full time position. The ideal candidate would have:
  • EEC Teacher I/T certification
  • Associate's degree or above in Early Childhood or related field
  • Experience working with children 3mos-2.9yrs old
  • Experience planning curriculum, writing assessments, and holding conferences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility in schedule; full time shifts are 9hrs with 1hr unpaid break.
Job responsibilities include:
  • Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters children's social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Cater to the physical and social emotional needs of children, including changing diapers, feeding, preparing activities, etc.
  • Maintaining organization/cleanliness of classroom.
  • Updating children's portfolios, assessments, daily notes, etc.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and professional development workshops.
  • Open communication between parents, staff, and administration on daily basis.
