- $35 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities Writing skills Teaching Certification Inclusivity Infant & Toddler Certification Full Job Description Little Corner is offering a full-time position as a certified Infant Teacher, toddler, or pre-k with experience in communications with families, EEC regulations, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in children
- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and organized learning environment
Skills:
- Experience in daycare or childcare settings, with knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and preschool education
- Strong ability to manage and redirect challenging behaviors in children
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations for children with special needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
