TCEE is in the heart of Coolidge Corner in Brookline MA, easily accessible by public transportation. With an amazing teaching staff who work together each day to provide an inspiring emergent curriculum for all children, TCEE is an environment where teachers can grow, learn, and become part of a wonderful, inclusive Jewish community. From our youngest infants to our 5-year-olds getting ready for kindergarten, our daily focus is on relationship-building, and the growth, development, and wellbeing of each child, as well as their families.
Hours of position:
9am-5pm or 9:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday Salary starts at $45,500, commensurate with experience and education (for 10-month contract, September-June. In following years, 11- and 12-month contract options available!) Start date: August 31, 2026 or later Job description: Working with a team of two other teachers to care for a group of 15 children between 3.5 and 4.5 years old in an emergent, child-led environment. Weekly planning and supervision time is accounted for within the school day. Prior experience with pre-k/preschool, a valid EEC teacher certification, and experience with Reggio-inspired environments and progressive Jewish education preferred. Willingness to contribute flexibly and positively, and a desire for professional growth in a supportive, inspiring teaching community required.
