The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where toddlers can learn, explore, and grow. Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing care for toddlers in a safe and welcoming classroom environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Establish consistent classroom routines and positive guidance strategies. Support children's growing independence, communication, and self-help skills. Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom. Communicate regularly and professionally with families about children's experiences and development. Observe and document children's learning and developmental progress. Work collaboratively with co-teachers and other staff members. Follow all health, safety, licensing, and center policies and procedures. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred. Early childhood education coursework or a related degree is a plus. Must have a valid toddler teacher certification from EEC. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Patience, creativity, dependability, and a genuine love of working with young children. Ability to meet all state and center licensing requirements.
