• EEC Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher
• to join our team.
• Position Responsibilities
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children\'s social-emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and self-help development.
• Follow Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations and program policies.
• Maintain accurate daily records, attendance, observations, and documentation as required.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents and families regarding children\'s daily experiences and development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Follow appropriate health, safety, hygiene, and supervision practices at all times.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, nap/rest time, transitions, and outdoor activities.
• Work cooperatively with other staff members and participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
• Support positive guidance and classroom behavior practices.
• Complete required documentation and developmental observations in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and the childcare program.
• Qualifications
• Current Massachusetts EEC qualifications/certification for
• Infant/Toddler Teacher or Lead Teacher
• preferred/required according to EEC regulations.
• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, responsible, patient, and caring.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass all required Massachusetts EEC background checks and meet applicable EEC employment requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain if required.
