Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, foster developmental growth, and create a nurturing environment for our youngest learners. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging curriculum tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activities, and social-emotional learning Lead daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and play sessions with enthusiasm and patience Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and compassionate manner Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development observations and incident reports Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood development principles such as Montessori or other educational philosophies Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and ongoing professional development Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, especially with toddlers Strong knowledge of child development instruction and age-appropriate activities Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood welfare practices Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is required Experience with preschool teaching methods such as Montessori or standardized testing approaches is a plus Ability to implement inclusive teaching strategies that support diverse learning needs Join us at Kid-Start, Inc., where your passion for nurturing young minds can make a meaningful difference!
