CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

(COTA) Leominster Pubic Schools is looking to hire a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work directly under a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)

Qualifications:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License Job Description Assist OTR in the remediation or development of fine motor skills. Document student progress toward meeting established IEP objectives. Assist OTR in document student progress Plan lessons for both face to face and remote platforms. Perform support duties such as preparing materials, keeping records, maintaining supplies, and scheduling activities. Prepare charts, graphs, or other visual displays to communicate student's fine motor development. Understand child development, managing challenging behaviors and social emotional learning. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Please submit cover letter, resume, transcripts and evidence of DESE licensure if any.
