Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in their care. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development through play-based learning. Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner, fostering a safe and supportive environment. Manage classroom activities, ensuring that all children are actively engaged and participating. Provide individualized attention to children, including those with special needs or disabilities. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach. Document children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience in early childhood education or preschool settings. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs. Experience working with children, including toddler care, infant care, and daycare settings. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. First aid certification is preferred. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
