Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teacher for our nurturing, engaging faith-based classroom. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Your passion for reaching children with God's love will be combined with fostering a positive learning atmosphere to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Implement Experience Learning curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including behavior management strategies to support positive conduct and engagement. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster collaborative relationships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, incident reports, and other documentation required for licensing and accreditation purposes. Stay current on best practices in childhood development, childcare regulations, first aid/CPR certification requirements, and educational trends. Skills Experience working in a liscensed child care facility Extensive experience working with children across various age groups within preschool or daycare settings. Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere through classroom management skills. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and community partners effectively. Familiarity with childhood development principles and standardized testing methods used in early childhood assessment. Ability to implement lessons that incorporate play-based learning strategies aligned with preschool teaching standards. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare compliance. First aid and CPR certification to ensure safety in emergency situations. Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning documentation, attendance records, and progress reports efficiently. $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
