Children & Youth Services' Karasik and Family, Infant & Child Care Center has vacancy for a full-time Child Care Associate Teacher who is interested in working in a unique fully inclusive Child Care Center supporting preschool children with special health care needs and disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of the classroom program. Come join our fun and energetic team and build your skills as an educator. About KFICCC:
KFICC is Maryland's only fully inclusive childcare center, where children with and without disabilities and special medical needs play, grow, learn, and explore together in every classroom. Our family centered program offers embedded preschool, special education, access to early intervention therapies, and on-site nursing support to provide a seamless delivery of services for every family.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma plus 90 clock hours (45 hours of Curriculum & 45 hours of Child Development); or high school diploma plus Child Development Associate (CDA) and one year of relevant experience. Effective verbal and written communication skills and computer skills. Ability to read, write and communicate in English Ability to lift and carry independently up to 25 pounds. Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing or walking, and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing.
Pay Rate:
$19.04 - $20.00 per hour depending on education and experience. EOE M/F/Vet/Disabled
