Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to safety protocols Assist with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering, and bathroom breaks Support classroom management by implementing behavior management strategies and encouraging positive interactions Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child welfare or safety Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to plan educational activities that align with developmental goals Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom experience with effective classroom management skills Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and behavior management techniques Passion for nurturing young children's growth and development in a safe environment Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for children!
