Childcare Provider Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under their care. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a crucial role in promoting the physical, social, and emotional development of young children.Duties:
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual growth and development
- Provide attentive care to meet the individual needs of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management techniques when necessary
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being of each child
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
Skills:
- Experience or education in early childhood education
- Proficiency in preschool curriculum and childhood development principles
- Ability to provide quality toddler care and infant care
- Previous experience in nannying or daycare settings is a plus
- Strong behavior management skills
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Certification in first aid is required or needs to be obtained with-in 30 days.
- Required to pass a back check
- Must obtain 30 training hours per year
- Must have the ability to play on the floor with the children.
