Childcare Provider Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under their care. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a crucial role in promoting the physical, social, and emotional development of young children.
Duties:
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual growth and development
  • Provide attentive care to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
  • Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being of each child
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
Skills:
  • Experience or education in early childhood education
  • Proficiency in preschool curriculum and childhood development principles
  • Ability to provide quality toddler care and infant care
  • Previous experience in nannying or daycare settings is a plus
  • Strong behavior management skills
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques
  • Certification in first aid is required or needs to be obtained with-in 30 days.
  • Required to pass a back check
  • Must obtain 30 training hours per year
  • Must have the ability to play on the floor with the children.
