Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants and toddlers Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring safety at all times Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and self-regulation Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress and adhere to mandated reporting laws for child welfare concerns Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration through play-based learning and sensory activities Collaborate with colleagues to ensure classroom management standards are met and educational goals are achieved Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to infancy and toddlerhood Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for early learners, including literacy education and basic math concepts Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Ability to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori or other child-centered teaching philosophies Knowledge of first aid and CPR certifications to ensure safety in emergency situations Experience with classroom management tools, standardized testing for early learners, and documenting developmental milestones Embark on a rewarding journey helping young children thrive!
