Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Commercial HVAC Installation Technicians for an immediate start in the Gorham, ME area!

$18-$27.00/hour (based on experience)

HOURS:

8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)

Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Superior Skilled Trades is currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician Apprentice to join our Gorham, Maine Operations Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has completed their HVAC apprenticeship schooling and is looking to build a long-term career in the commercial HVAC industry. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain valuable hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial HVAC systems at customer locations.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.

Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

Service and operating commercial HVAC equipment under the supervision of experienced technicians.

Follow all EPA Section 608 Clean Air Act requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Attend all company-required safety meetings and training.

Follow all company safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service at all job sites.

Keep work areas and service vehicles clean and organized.

Be available to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Completion of an approved HVAC apprenticeship schooling program is required.

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Willingness to learn and develop a career in commercial HVAC service.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

EPA Section 608 Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain if required).

Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Ability to occasionally lift and move 51-100 lbs.

Ability to lift heavy equipment with assistance when required

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, climbing, and reaching overhead

Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, rooftops, and stairways

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid, and dusty environments

Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary

Must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must pass drug and background screening
