Preschool Teacher (Full-time)

We are a warm, community-centered preschool with a strong emphasis on play, nature, and relationships, seeking an experienced and nurturing teacher to join our team.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, full-time

Responsibilities:

Co-teach in a collaborative classroom, working closely with a partner teacher Lead and support a play-based, child-centered learning environment Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Communicate with families in a friendly and professional manner Work as part of a team to create a positive, consistent classroom and school community Spend time outdoors with children in all seasons

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children required Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and co-teach effectively Understanding of Maine Early Learning and Development Standards is helpful Experience with or interest in play-based, Reggio-inspired, or nature-based learning Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons Ability to step into a lead role when needed Patient, flexible, and reliable Genuine love of working with young children
