Duties Develop and implement comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management strategies and positive behavior reinforcement techniques. Assess individual student progress using formative and summative assessments; analyze student performance data to tailor instruction and identify areas needing academic interventions. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, instructional design, and integrating learning technology to enhance educational outcomes. Maintain open communication with families regarding their child's development, progress, and any behavioral or learning concerns. Ensure compliance with educational regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements for early childhood programs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred . Minimum of an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development. Proven experience teaching preschool-aged children in classroom settings; experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, assessment-driven instruction, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), educational technology tools, and multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families. Experience working in private or preschool settings; Montessori or other specialized early childhood approaches are a plus. Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative analysis of progress and to implement appropriate academic interventions. Knowledge of behavioral management strategies and conflict resolution techniques suitable for young children.
