Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom. This role involves guiding children through their early learning experiences, supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development in areas such as social skills, language, motor skills, and cognitive abilities. Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage classroom routines and behavior to create a positive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child safety and development. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following safety protocols to ensure children's well-being. Support children's emotional needs through attentive caregiving and responsive interactions. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards. Requirements Prior experience in early childhood education or teaching young children, specifically with preschool-aged children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare settings. Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
