  • Byron Center is seeking a caring and dependable Childcare Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
This role focuses on creating a positive and engaging environment where children build confidence, independence, and early learning skills through structured routines and hands-on experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with a variety of age groups in a collaborative and supportive childcare setting. Key Responsibilities Support daily classroom routines and learning activities across age groups Create a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers Assist with classroom preparation and activity setup Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prior childcare experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable and nurturing approach to working with children Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $16
