  • Byron Center is seeking a caring and dependable Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a positive, supportive school environment. Our teachers create meaningful learning experiences through play, exploration, daily routines, and positive relationships while helping children build confidence and independence. What You'll Do Provide attentive care and supervision for young children Lead engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities Support children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, toileting, and classroom transitions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Build positive relationships with children and families Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous daycare, preschool, or childcare experience preferred CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Caring, reliable, and team-oriented Strong communication skills Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $16
