Canton, MI Pay:
$17•20 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience•Canton is hiring an Early Childhood Teacher for our 2-Year-Old (Prepper) classroom. This is an exciting stage when children are rapidly developing language, independence, confidence, and early friendships. You'll create a nurturing and structured environment that gives children plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and develop new skills. What You'll Do Lead daily activities and routines for our 2-Year-Old classroom Create developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development Encourage independence and emerging self-help skills Guide meals, toileting readiness, rest time, play, and transitions Provide positive guidance and attentive supervision Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom Build strong relationships with children and families Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus CDA or ECE coursework preferred Patient, energetic, dependable, and nurturing Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer $17•20 per hour Full-time Monday-Friday schedule Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership team Opportunities for continued career growth Apply today and help two-year-olds build the confidence and independence they need for their next big step.
