Duties Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment for children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning strategies Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management practices Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that align with early childhood education standards and individualized child development plans Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns or questions Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare incidents or concerns Oversee classroom safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment for all children Experience Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles Experience working with diverse populations, including children requiring additional support such as behavior management or speech therapy Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners Knowledge of standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood assessment tools Prior experience teaching physical education or integrating movement into daily activities is a plus Valid first aid and CPR certification is required; ongoing professional development in childhood welfare is encouraged Embrace this opportunity to lead with enthusiasm and dedication!
