We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood team. In this role, you will work to create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young learners. Responsibilities include planning and implementing daily lessons, supporting children's social and emotional development, and maintaining a safe and nurturing space for all students. You will prepare activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and hands on experiences. Building positive relationships with families is an essential part of this position, as you will regularly communicate with parents about their child's progress, growth, and classroom experiences. You will also ensure that all health, safety, and licensing standards are consistently upheld. Small class sizes with a maximum of 4 children per teacher (1:4 ratio) , allowing for personalized attention and quality care.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support toddler age children in activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and creative development Work collaboratively with a other teachers to create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Help develop and implement daily schedules, routines, and lesson plans that include learning centers, group time, outdoor play, rest, and hands-on experiences Foster positive and supportive relationships with children by encouraging independence, cooperation, and problem-solving skills Communicate professionally and consistently with parents regarding their child's growth, progress, and classroom experiences Ensure that all health, safety, and licensing standards are maintained throughout the day Support a structured yet flexible classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older CDA or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or early childhood education preferred Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team and communicate openly with other teachers Passionate about working with young children and supporting their growth Positive, patient, and dependable with strong classroom management skills Ability to build trusting relationships with children and families Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
