Role:

Little Sprouts Academy in Eastpointe, MI is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-driven lesson plans for toddlers Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment Monitor and support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and developmental records Supervise toddlers during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and rest time Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, positive learning experience

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or Early Childhood Education degree preferred Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare/preschool setting Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and best practices Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a state and federal background check Patient, energetic, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for children Strong communication and teamwork skills
