Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom or play area aligned with safety standards Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Apply child supervision techniques that support positive behavior management and classroom discipline Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care for infants and toddlers Use child development instruction methods to encourage learning through play and exploration Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that meet developmental milestones Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and sanitation protocols Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny or babysitter is highly valued Demonstrated classroom experience managing young children's behavior in educational or childcare settings Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with preschool curriculum planning and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is preferred or willing to obtain upon hire Ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress and needs Experience working within mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety at all times Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive!
