We are seeking an energetic, faith-filled Preschool Aide to join our early childhood team.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
High School Senior, High School Diploma or GED equivalency Engage students in cooperative, creative, and safe play Support and assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities Monitor student behavior and foster a positive and nurturing environment Help maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom Model after the lead teacher in promoting a consistent disciplinary approach, which sets high standards for student behavior, promotes self-direction and confidence, and manages inappropriate behaviors effectively\ Maintain a positive relationship with parents, staff, and administration through regular communication in a faith-based and professional manner Uphold our mission of "Building Strong Minds and Faithful Hearts Through a Catholic Education" Certified in Infant/Child and Adult CPR and First Aid (school will provide training if needed) Complete 16 hours of Professional Development in Early Childhood topics (annually) Prior to start must complete: Fingerprinted/Background check (through school) Bloodborne Pathogens Protecting God's Children Workshop (available through Archdiocese of Detroit) TB test and physical Interested applicants should submit the following materials: a cover letter, resume, and a list of references to the principal, Mrs.
