About us Hartland Early Learning Center is affiliated with Hartland Consolidated Schools in Hartland, MI. Duties:

• Provide care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
• Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities to foster their growth socially, academically, physically, etc.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
• Maintain a clean and organized space
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's day
• Work collaboratively with other staff members for the betterment of each child
• Position will require caring for children ranging from 1 to 3 years old, depending on classroom need.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or classroom management role
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple children and maintain a calm and patient demeanor
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, but not required

Note:

This position may require occasional evening or weekend availability for special trainings and/or events.
