Job Overview:
- We are seeking a
QUALIFIED GSRP
Lead Teacher to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the overall well-being of the students. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment
- Utilize effective classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for students
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and upcoming events
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and literacy education
Skills:
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to educate and inspire students of varying learning styles
