Job Description
Exhibit a compassionate and professional Christian attitude with students, parents, and other employees. Can assist classroom activities and instruct children (infant-school age) in activities designed to promote spiritual, social, physical, and academically. Assist with lesson plans using a variety of learning opportunities such as story-telling, artwork, free play, circle time, and other methods. Collaborate with other teachers and caregivers to foster a positive classroom environment that promotes caring, learning, and responsibility. Communicate with parents regarding schedules, daily reports, developmental milestones and child's needs. Report to the director regarding classroom events, necessities, and opportunities. Availability flexible. A successful applicant needs a strong understanding of child development and a nurturing teaching approach in the classroom. As a staff member of a Christian organization, all employees must demonstrate a commitment to Christ through church involvement and a Christian approach to daily living.
