Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote early childhood learning and development. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and engagement at all times. Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering, nap times, and transitions between activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment for children. Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) to respond effectively in emergencies. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child safety and well-being. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Classroom experience with toddlers or infants is desirable; familiarity with behavior management techniques is beneficial.
