Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment for young children, guiding their developmental progress, and collaborating with families and staff. This role involves designing engaging curriculum, managing classroom activities, and ensuring compliance with educational standards and safety regulations. The Lead Teacher will play a vital role in shaping positive educational experiences for children from infancy through preschool age. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to individual student needs, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that promote child development and early learning skills. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management. Oversee classroom activities, including toddler care, preschool teaching, and special education interventions as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, and mandated reporting laws compliance. Communicate regularly with parents regarding child development milestones, behavioral updates, and classroom events. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure effective team collaboration. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols. Support inclusive education practices for children with special needs or requiring early intervention services. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes social skills, emotional regulation, and a love for learning. Skills . GSRP Teacher for 4 year olds. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to develop lesson plans aligned with educational standards and individualized learning goals. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Experience teaching physical education and integrating movement into daily activities is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners' needs. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and classroom routines. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
