Part-time or Full-time Schedule:
Monday-Friday, between 6:30 AM - 6:00
PM Hiring Timeline:
Seeking to hire within 1 week Must be at least 18 and graduated from high school About Us We are a licensed group home daycare committed to providing a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for children from infancy through school age. Our program focuses on meaningful relationships, play‑based learning, and consistent, compassionate care. We are seeking a dependable, caring individual who shares these values and enjoys working with children of all ages.
Please Note:
We are currently at full capacity with a waitlist. We cannot accept applicants who need to bring their own children. Position Overview The Childcare Assistant supports daily routines, supervision, and age‑appropriate activities while helping maintain a positive, structured environment. This role requires flexibility, patience, and a genuine love for children. Responsibilities Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care to children ages infant through school age Create and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment Support play‑based learning and daily activities Assist with meals, transitions, and general supervision Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and co‑workers Follow licensing rules and daycare policies Qualifications Passion for working with children and supporting their growth Reliability, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain — assistance provided) Must meet all State of Michigan childcare licensing requirements All required training and certifications will be supported.
