This is a full-time position working with young children in a supportive and engaging early childhood learning environment. As a GSRP Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Using Creative Curriculum, plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons that aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain positive relationships with children and families. Collaborate with classroom staff and administration. Follow all GSRP and program requirements and maintain required documentation. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and encourage parent involvement in their child's development. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development using TSGold and use the observations to tailor instruction accordingly. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, OR Michigan Teaching Certificate with ZA or ZS endorsement OR Associates Degree in Early Childhood working towards BA in Early Childhood. Experience working in a GSRP classroom using Creative Curriculum and TS Gold preferred. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for young children. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
