GSRP Lead Preschool Teacher Gretchen's House is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the early educational experiences of young children. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents and guardians Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and health regulations Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance teaching practices Support inclusive education by adapting activities to meet diverse learning needs
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field Valid teaching certification or licensure for preschool or early childhood education Prior experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a lead teacher role Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate instructional strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and families Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to early childhood education Knowledge of HighScope Curriculum HighScope certification preferred Join our organization and become part of a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing young learners and supporting their growth. Requirements:
Preferred BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education/Early Childhood, or closely related field. Experience working in a group care setting along with supervisory experience Immunization requirements: MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Annual influenza
