Growing Explorers Learning Center is a high-quality child care center serving children ages 6 weeks through 5 years across our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K programs. We are looking for a Preschool Teacher who wants to build a real classroom community: one with big questions, messy projects, belly laughs, and the kind of steady, loving relationships that shape how a child feels about learning for the rest of their life. You will not be handed a rigid script. You will be trusted to know your kids, follow their interests, and design the days that go with them. We are right in your neighborhood. Growing Explorers sits in the east metro just off the intersection of I-94 and Radio Drive/Inwood Ave. What your days look like Plan and lead hands-on learning experiences that stretch early literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional skills — and follow the rabbit holes your class gets obsessed with Build warm, trusting relationships with every child in your room, and real partnerships with their families Get outside to play, and make good use of our indoor gym on those true Minnesota days Document learning and share the wins with parents (your classroom iPad makes this quick) Partner with your co-teacher and our leadership team to keep the room safe, joyful, and running smoothly What we're looking for Genuine passion for early childhood education and a love of teaching A nurturing, patient, and playful presence with young children 1+ year of early childhood classroom experience strongly preferred CDA, Associate/Bachelor's degree strongly preferred Dependable and committed — our families and your co-teachers count on you CPR & First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain (we train and pay for it) Able to pass a background check and fingerprinting Available full time Still finishing your credits?
