Role:
Our Lead Teachers are the heart of our program, bringing creativity, structure, and warmth to every learning experience. At Play-Inspired Learning Center, you'll guide children through a thoughtfully balanced day of child-led exploration and purposeful activities rooted in science, math, and the arts.
Qualifications:
CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience working with young children in a licensed setting Background/Interest in the Montessori Pedagogy Knowledge of child development and play-based learning Strong communication and classroom management skills CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities:
Co-develop engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans aligned with early learning standards Promote language, math, science, and creative expression through hands-on exploration Support children's problem-solving, collaboration, and emotional self-regulation Observe and document growth to inform planning and parent communication Maintain a peaceful, organized classroom with clearly defined learning areas Partner with families to support each child's development Uphold all licensing, health, and safety requirements
Physical Requirements:
This is an active teaching role that requires full engagement with young children throughout the day, including: Sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, and frequent movement Lifting and assisting children (up to 40 lbs) Engaging in active play, including outdoor activities Supporting children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, and meals Maintaining awareness and quick responsiveness in a dynamic classroom environment
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE or closely related field preferred Experience in a preschool setting required Knowledge of play-based curriculum and school readiness standards Excellent team collaboration and time-management skills CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain Meets all state childcare licensing requirements Join us in creating a joyful learning space where every child feels valued and inspired!

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
