Key Responsibilities As a Teacher Aide , you will: Support teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Assist with implementing age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Encourage positive interactions, independence, and learning through play and daily routines. Help maintain consistent daily routines, including meals, rest time, toileting or diapering, transitions, and classroom activities. Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Observe children's needs and communicate with teachers to support individualized care. Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards. Provide support in different classrooms as needed to meet the needs of the center. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Warm, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children. Dependable and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Flexible and willing to support a variety of classrooms and daily activities. Positive, energetic, and eager to learn. Observant and responsive to children's needs. Able to help create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. Qualifications. Background in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, but not required. Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, bending, sitting on the floor, and standing for extended periods.
