The Living Word Church Childcare Center is currently seeking Full Time Lead Preschool Age Teacher . The work schedule is primarily Monday-Friday, 8 am-5:00pm (hours may vary due to scheduling). We are offering a $1000 sign on bonus.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead classroom activities and instruction; Strive to always meet the educational and spiritual needs of the children while always maintaining a safe environment Plan and conduct daily classroom schedules Team plan curriculum to include developmentally appropriate activities to meet individual and group objectives Evaluate curriculum with other staff members Plan and attend parent conferences Communicate and interact with parents on a daily basis Attend and assist in planning for family events Assume responsibility for maintaining classroom cleanliness, arrangement, appearance, materials, supplies, and equipment Maintain necessary reports pertaining to the children and DHS licensing Attend meetings, conferences, and classes of professional organizations appropriate for early childhood education

Minimum Requirements:

Must be "Teacher Qualified" according to MN DHS Rule 3

•Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred Belief in the Christian faith Ability to relate warmly to children and parents Ability to function in a Christ-centered family/child-oriented program with initiative, creativity, and energy Current CPR and First Aid Certification Evidence of continued professional development

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
