Overview Little One's Day Out is a Christian Preschool searching for an enthusiastic, dependable, creative, flexible, loving and patient Preschool Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. Our Aides are an integral part of our learning environment and assist in the classrooms with structured activities and classroom management. Our Aides also assist in snack preparation and cleaning duties throughout the school. Must have a love for working with children ages 6 weeks

•5 years old and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for all preschool ages. Schedule (Hire date-May 21st) Monday-Thursday 7:15am-12:15pm. Some additional hours are required through the year for staff meetings, family events, and professional development. Our preschool is closed in accordance with most Columbia Public School calendar for holidays, teacher workdays, and school breaks.

Additional Hours Available:

Afternoon Aide Position 1:00pm-5:30pm. (Not required) Duties Display dependability and commitment to the position Communicate in a positive manner with children, parents, and staff. Work well in a group/team environment Maintain a positive learning environment Manage student behavior by establishing consistent and age-appropriate rules and routines Assist children with personal care routines, toileting, and diaper changes Perform light cleaning to maintain a safe and nurturing preschool environment Experience High school diploma or GED; this position is great for someone working on their education degree. Experience in an early childhood classroom setting (preferred) Must pass a physical, TB test, and background check Must obtain CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Certification Must have experience working with children in a learning environment Salary $16.50
