Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on infant growth, including sensory activities, motor skills development, and social-emotional learning Provide attentive supervision and care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Maintain accurate records of each child's developmental progress, health updates, and daily routines in compliance with licensing standards Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary and adhering to mandated reporting laws for any concerns or incidents Support classroom management by organizing age-appropriate materials, maintaining a clean environment, and encouraging positive behavior through gentle guidance Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse needs or disabilities Skills Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or daycare setting, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers, including early childhood education best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in first aid is highly valued Familiarity with special education techniques and experience working with children with disabilities enhances your ability to support all learners Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork within the classroom environment Ability to follow mandated reporting laws accurately and confidently handle sensitive situations with professionalism Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to behavior management Experience in preschool or daycare center environments that emphasize child supervision, classroom experience, and early childhood instruction Join us in creating a nurturing space where infants can thrive!
