This full-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a nurturing, engaging environment where toddlers can explore, grow, and meet developmental milestones. As a lead teacher, you will oversee daily routines, curriculum planning, and the classroom assistant. Responsibilities Create a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for toddlers Plan and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and curriculum activities Support children through feeding, diapering, napping, and daily routines Engage children in sensory play, early communication, and milestone‑focused activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Oversee and collaborate with an assistant teacher to ensure smooth daily operations Communicate professionally and positively with families and staff Follow all licensing regulations, safety procedures, and school policies Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Prior experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting Ability to lift 30 lbs and actively participate in classroom routines Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
