Job Summary St. Paul Lutheran Childcare We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team for this summer .The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children, facilitating educational activities, and supporting their overall development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to ensure that each child's needs are met while promoting positive growth and learning experiences. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children while at the facility and on daily field trips. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team environment. Experience Proven experience in childcare or related fields such as preschool education, nannying, or caregiving. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment. Experience working with students who have special needs or disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
