Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Childcare Floater/Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide essential support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Your energetic approach and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences, promote learning through play, and maintain smooth daily operations within our childcare center. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote childhood development and learning. Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different classrooms, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering, nap times, and bathroom needs while adhering to health and safety standards. Engage children in educational play, social interactions, and behavioral guidance to foster positive behavior management. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to build strong relationships. Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports developmental milestones. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) to ensure preparedness for emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations as a childcare floater. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations. Ability to supervise children attentively while demonstrating patience, empathy, and positive behavior guidance strategies. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
