Infant/Toddler Teacher

INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER EARLY EXPLORERS CHILD DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY

(EECDA) The Infant/Toddler Teacher will plan and implement learning opportunities that further the children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical growth and development while acting as the primary resource for parents.

Job Responsibilities :

Develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities on a daily basis; conduct daily health checks and ensure environment is clean, safe and free of hazards; be responsible for developing and implementing individualized activities based on the development level of each child; create a learning environment in the classroom and outside for young children which promote experimentation and exploration; Communicate effectively with parents in promoting parental involvement in their child's early learning experience; facilitate and assist children in developing positive relationships that support a caring community within the classroom.

Job Requirements :

Working knowledge and understanding of early childhood development and education; ability to communicate effectively with parents and including them in their child's learning process; one year teaching experience working with infants and toddlers; pass a criminal and child abuse and neglect background check and drug screening; ability to provide a recent physical & TB test.

Education Requirements :

High School Diploma. CDA Licensure required. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development or related required. Classroom experience required.
