Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in literacy, math, and physical activity. Your role is vital in creating a positive learning atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore their world. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while working within a collaborative and supportive team. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children. Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to schedules while maintaining high standards of classroom management and behavior management. Support children's developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong home-school partnerships. Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, into daily lessons to promote holistic learning. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety protocols, and child welfare policies at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning. Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices such as curriculum development, behavior management, and childhood development theories. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm in fostering a positive learning environment. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
