Company Overview Countryside Montessori School is a dedicated Montessori child care center serving children from eight weeks to six years old. We focus on nurturing each child's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development within a warm and supportive environment. Our goal is to foster independence, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning through tailored educational experiences. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Temporary Montessori Child Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with lesson planning, and help create a positive learning environment for young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood education while gaining valuable classroom experience in a Montessori setting.

Monday 7:30 a.m.
  • 3:30 p.m. Tuesday 7:30 a.m.
  • 1 p.m. Wednesday 7:30 a.m.
  • 1 p.m. Thursday 7:30 a.m.
  • 3:30 p.m. Friday 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing Montessori curriculum and lesson plans across various subjects including literacy, math, and social skills Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering a respectful environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote independence, problem-solving, and social interaction Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress and adapt support strategies as needed Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents to support children's developmental needs Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or educational support roles is preferred Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and childhood development Strong classroom management skills and the ability to assist in behavior management strategies Knowledge of curriculum development for preschool-aged children in subjects like literacy and math Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff Technical proficiency in educational tools or classroom management software is a plus Join us at Countryside Montessori School to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners while developing your skills in early childhood education!
